The department was established with fulfilled vision when becomes mission. The students are offered a unique opportunity in bringing out their different creative potentialities and aspirations into light through our college. Till now six batches of students left from the college with good percentage of results. The students of 2008-2009 batch got placed in two different companies from Chennai and Bangalore through campus interview.
Objectives:

• To make students good in software skill.
• To make students compete in interviews with good communicative English and with aptitude skill.
• To make students self confident and determinant.
• To conduct National Level Symposium.
• To achieve 100% job placement.

Our department conducted two days symposium Comfutech-09’ on February 19th and 20th 2009. Delegates & students of various colleges participated and presented a paper on Current trends of Computer Technology. Intra department and Inter collegiate competitions were conducted by our Computer Science students on current trends. Certificate course on Advanced C was conducted for different discipline.

The department offers B.Sc. CS from the academic year 2001-2002, M.Sc. CS from the academic year 2009-2010 and M.Phil. CS from the academic year 2010-2011.
