The NICAS Library of Noorul Islam College of Arts & Science started functioning on 8th July 2002 in the new Campus. The primary aim of the library is to stimulate and promote among the students reading habits, thereby to enrich their knowledge that in turn would ensure their self-development and self-confidence.

The Library has a good collection of 7000 latest and newly published books including 600 prestigious reference books in various disciplines, The total value of the books Rs. 15,22,387/-. For this academic year 2010-2011, added 607 books, worth RS.2,03,675/- and subscribe 15 Periodicals including Journals that’s worth Rs.24,000/- Exclusively this year 2010-2011, including both National and International in the area of Life Science, Computer Science Humanities, Visual Communication, Socio-Economics, Literature competitive and General Studies. The members of NICAS Library refer and use 800 books average in a month and a good number of periodicals. We provide all leading National and Regional Dailies.

All books and data are computerized, it has used developed a computer based catalogue along with a manual catalogue. Books are classified under DDC 20th edition. We provide separate facilities for E-Resource Access, Question Bank and Back Volume Reference. The Library provide a separate session for a library hour for all students both UG and PG NICAS library and NICE Library jointly organize Book Fair Cum Sales in every semester. The leading publishers and distributors participate the fair. It encourages the student community to reading habits and purchase of own books with a discount rate. Every year the department of the library honors the best library user with an award. In the Academic year 2010-2011, the following students has received the award.
